Another situation: Q listener Sabrina's mom spent her life rescuing, spaying, and fostering cats. She passed away recently and the no-kill shelter in NJ where she volunteered REFUSED to take her 8 cats!!!!
The cats range in age from 2 yrs--15 yrs old.
They need to be adopted by Oct.14th.
If you can help, call Sabrina at 848-702-5240 but not after 9pm ok?

GILLL,
I would LOVE to help by taking a kitty. But my nerves are way too raw from losing 3 cats in less than a week. I'll help with the transport too, if it'll help.
I am so sorry for you loss and I know what you mean. I'm full right now, 17 and the walls are bursting. next Sunday I have a transport of 26 the Mass. , 23 kittens, 2 mom cats, and an ex grand champion Persion, That I have had for over the week. I have done run several times It's only about 4 hours each way, a straight run up 95 from N.J. to Mass.

GILL,
Let me know if you need me for any leg of the transport. The only day I can't do it is Wednesday.
Thank you but I've got it covered. I have to get my clam chower fix. I also plan on stopping at a resterant in CT. Saw it on the food channel, Black Duck sounded good.

Such a shame the shleter she helped won't help her now. It is so sad that when she dies those kitties not only lost her but are loosing their home. That is just heartbreaking.
Again THANKS, Linda at the shelter is going to meet me at the Mystic Aquarium, that takes about an hour off. The Black Duck is in Westport, Ct. right under Rt 95. It's in a barge They Have a cool web site. Just do a search for Black duck, Ct.
I am also get a feral that is friendly and hope to get her acclimated to family life, then I will find her a home.

I'm sorry, but I can't help with anything, especially after expensive vet bills this month. Bless you for tyring to help.
I really can't believe that the shelter where she volunteered refused to help at all. They might be full, but there must be something they could do.

John-
If I can help with traveling I will. I can't afford to take in anymore with my peeing Ashley and my other vets bills this time but I hope they get a home.
