Hurrah for W.O. Smith. He's a gigantic hero in my book for that act of kindness. Chris, could you possibly find out if I could get a message to W.O. Smith?? I would love to let him know what a hero I think he is to his face...or at least his email!

Mugsy I have been looking but haven`t been able to come up with a contact for W.O.Smith as yet, but in the search I came across another story involving a soldier and a dog rescue from abroad that took place in 1999. The puppies look alike too!

Chris,
Another heartwarming story...You guys over there in the U.K. get all the good stories and we get all the heartwrenching ones.

Naw, Molly, we get horrible ones too, its just I don`t read them if I think they have a bad ending. I am a coward that way. It really does hurt to read real bad things and haunts me for days. I think its because I can`t do anything about it.
For you and all Pet Talkers here is a site that has all the latest dog stories from around the world, and if you want, you can do like I do and sign up and get the storys e-mailed direct to you. There is also a discussion board to join which is good too - but not as good as Pet Talk! :)

They also have what look like some good dog screensaver to download. (if you refresh different ones come up, in the top right hand corner) I haven`t gone for one because I don`t use them.

Thanks to ChrisTINE lol, I have emailed W.O. Graeme Smith to tell him what a hero I think he is. I still think that it's incredible that he was so selfless to do this....and I'm REALLY thankful that he did.
