I found this via the link Blue posted, but I can't read it without the "doink doink" noises from NBC's Law & Order! On the other hand, maybe a "woof, woof" would be more appropriate?

In New York’s war on animal abuse, some of the worst offenders are pursued by a group of tattooed motorcycle-riding tough guys on a mission to save animals in danger. They call themselves Rescue Ink, and these are their stories.

I've seen the previews on Nat. Geo. I'll be working until 12am but probably watch it at 2 am whenever it starts. I think I'll like it despite that it looks illegal. I'm all for rescuers just going in an plucking out the animal regardless of all the legal hoops they're supposed to jump through first.

It was pretty good. They took in a pitbull from a pastor that rescues dogs but couldn't place it himself and contrunted a guy shooting cats with a pellet gun. All they had to go on was someone said "my mom heard he did from a friend of the guy across the street" or something like that but turned out he was doing it because they found the pellets and he then admitted it. so they didn't break any laws in the first show.

I watched it for the first time last night and was INSTANTLY in love with those burly animal lovers. I called their phone last night and spoke with a wonderful lady, Angie, about them. I sang their praises. I'd marry any one of those guys if they were available. We were on the phone for a good 20 minutes talking about animal abuse, etc. She told me that 2 of the guys live in Connecticut, one is a former power lifter from CT. He's 75 years old and his body is covered in tattoos. These guys do everything out of their own pockets.

I don't know if you guys watched it last night, but there was this $#!% who was shooting neighborhood strays because they pee and poo in his yard. These guys had so much patience. This guy was an idiot who said he only shoots them with a pellet gun to scare them away. He was an effing LIAR cuz they found a box of live ammo hidden under a cushion on his patio. He was yelling that why couldn't they just round up all the cats, take them out far away and shoot them all. By that time I was yelling at the tv. The Ink guys tried to talk to him civilly telling him they would go out and buy a system that will scare the cats away from his yard. He agreed. When the guys came back with the very expensive high-tech system, he was furious and called the cops. He said he was going to deal with it in his own way and there was nothing they could do. The cops were no help at all.

I told Angie about the Kyle Berry trial coming up on October 13 and asked her if it would be possible for the guys to support us on the first day of the trial. She told me to send the news clippings and an email and she will make sure they'll get it and get back to me. She said that if they can make it they will.

Start praying guys. Kyle Berry needs to be behind bars where he can't hurt another animal.

ROCK ON RESCUE INK!!! You are my heroes!!!

Kyle Berry is a very evil man who has a long criminal history with the Enfield Police Dept. He stepped on his neighbors cat and then kicked it 50 feet in front of her 12 year old granddaughter. He admitted in open court "I didn't mean to kill the cat." He has a history of domestic violence and his wife has a restraining order against him. He is looking at 8 1/2 years if convicted. He refused a plea bargain (he also kicked a police dog which is a felony in CT). It'll be interesting to see if he asks for a bench or jury trial.

His trial starts October 13 and I will be front and center.

His reason for kicking the cat? Because it was sitting on his step and wouldn't get out of the way. Nice, huh?
