Now just as their purrents Filou and Tigris have friends all over the world. Meet Ruby and Vinnie from New Zealand. They are Burmese and belong to Jennifer who is the daughter of long time friends;)

Of course me with my weak spot for handsome kitties who have Asian ancestors I just think they are adorable. As they are young (sadly their big fluffy adopted brother Larry passed away before they became part of the family) they are playful and cuddly:

http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/picture.php?albumid=177&pictureid=1506
But here comes the funniest story: Just like any well educated kitty they will amke sure mom gets a part of the prey. Only that Ruby doesn't bring in mice and other stuff- but toys she steals in the neighborhood.
Here is her collection but we heard that last night she brought a penguin ;)
http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/picture.php?albumid=177&pictureid=1509
Jennifer tries to find out where she got it from and give the toys back- but there is constant supply;)

Indeed, they are handsome! What a shiny fur they have. I would love to give them a kiss and cuddle
Look at these cute preys!:D Very funny! At home Jasmine sometimes plays with some of Valentine's toys, preferably balls, while Peppito loves the ones that have strings to be pulled:rolleyes: And Valentine sometimes plays with the kitties furry toys. You see, they share :D

Thats so funny that Ruby and Vinnie have decided that your neighborhood is thier own Personal Shopping Network. I would be proud if they chose a Found Cat Toy to add to thier collection!!!

They might be tightie whities...or boxers! :D:D
It looks like Rudy and Vinnie like to hunt...for prey that does not move too fast!:D:D
Which is the gorgeous sable? I suspect Rudy? Rudy is a beauty and soooo adorable back sleeping!!

I think we did not really know what's going on down there in New Zealand: the criminal activities of Ruby and Vinnie are much wider spread than we first thought:
This is Ruby in her White Phase- she always makes sure she steals good quality items.
http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/picture.php?albumid=177&pictureid=1516
The goods stolen get bigger and bigger:
http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/picture.php?albumid=177&pictureid=1517
For all who thought her brother is innocent: No he isn't. He is helping when the loot is stuck in the door:
http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/picture.php?albumid=177&pictureid=1518
And does anybody of the gentlecat burglars have a bad conscience?
(I don't need to answer that question here)

We wonder...could you get our purrsons to leave a window open? No screen please. We are having a little difficulty getting things through that flappy door. We have some real booty! - absolutely top notch goods - we need to get it inside quick!
Thanks very much...

Of course I am easily fooled but by looking at the newest evidence I wonder whether the famous NZ gentlecat burglars could have been framed.
"My heart is a white as this mouse" says Ruby:
http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/picture.php?albumid=177&pictureid=1522
" I have never seen this Teddy in my life."
http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/picture.php?albumid=177&pictureid=1523
" Look at Vinnie, he is even scared by that horse somebody brought in."
http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/picture.php?albumid=177&pictureid=1524
"And why would I have to steal with my own lilywhite pawsies- my purrents love me anyway ;)"

What do you think- are they innocent?

Of course they are innocent!!! I'm sure that toy that was stuck in the door was put there by some evil cat trying to cause trouble for these beauties. :D  (or maybe by Santa who was testing the hole to see how big a gift he could bring through it at Christmas for them) ;)

Ruby and Vinnie are two gorgeous cats!:D
I love their little habit of collecting fuzzy cute things from the neighborhood.
I think they both look perfectly innocent.
They are just telling their owners that they don't have enough cat toys to play with in their home so they have to go find some more toys on their own.;)

Gosh, this story is so darn funny.
I wonder if the robber goes to the same few homes? I find it interesting that the "finds" are baby oriented. Why no gardening gloves or shoes or flip flops, etc.?
I can't stop looking at the loot! I can picture the thief dragging that pony through the neighbourhood and into the cat flap.
Thanks for the funny, funny story. Keep us posted on any new and interesting loot!

Hi Ruby and Vinnie,
I'm concerned that both of you could be looking at some very serious charges here. I will be happy to represent you pro bono if you would like legal representation against what we know are bogus charges. You can contact me on my cell phone or through PT. We need to start putting your defense together as soon as possible.

Dear Groucho, dear Pinot,
we are so happy that we finally get contacts in the cats' world of law. We are being badly framed:
Look at us here being the innocent and sweet kitties we really are:
http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/picture.php?albumid=177&pictureid=1553
Now there are people here who say we are actually hiding to prepare bigger projects. They lure me, Vinnie, into the living room with treats but then I ran into a hidden camera:
http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/picture.php?albumid=177&pictureid=1554
And they did the same to my all innocent sister:
http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/picture.php?albumid=177&pictureid=1555
They even say she hid her tail to fool the rabbit that she was his mommy.
We have to get away here. Please send the eco-friendly catmobile ( we NZ people are very eco, you know) and get us out before we are put in jail.
The gentlecat burglars, ahm, nooo- that's not what I wanted to write....

This is probably one of the funniest threads I have ever read! Those gorgeous cats are feline felons? I can't believe it! Someone must be framing them. The picture with the evidence halfway in and halfway out of the kitty door is hilarious! Looks like they have some nice looking loot!:D

Hi again Ruby and Vinnie,
I just got home from Cat Court and got a look at your most recent post. Luring you in with treats then using a hidden camera? That is most definitely ENTRAPMENT!!!!! The evidence is now clear, you both have a case. Please get in touch with Pinot or me and give us your exact location. Have either of you been questioned by the police? This is important: do NOT discuss this situation with anyone! As your lawyer, all questions are to be referred to me. I'll be in touch.

Hi Pinot, Ruby, and Vinnie,
I talked to the local Jaguar dealer yesterday and asked about the Catmobile. I explained we have an emergency situation and might have to leave on a moment's notice. She contacted the very careful Catmobile driver and the on-board vet, they're ready and waiting for our call.
We will be going to Germany to check on our friends Luna and Lily because they just might need our help too.
I convinced Meowmie to order extra fried chicken and crab legs for us. Please check in with me as soon as you can, fellow kitties.
