[SIZE="2"]We have two wonderful cats that are sisters and 14 months old. The one is short and kind of chunky, weighs about 12.5 lbs. Her sister is taller and longer and weighs 12 lbs. The heavier one loves to eat and the other one just grazes. If we aren't careful the chunky monkey will eat hers and then nudge the other away from the bowl and eat that too. We always stop her but she always gives it a try. I'm wondering if this is normal for two from the same litter to be so different in size and if anyone has a good idea for a diet for the chunk.
My barn cats Cineli and La Vie Claire where brother and sister. Cineli was 8 pounds and Claire was 14 pounds. Niether cat was fat and Claire was one of the biggest fit cats Ive ever known. Cineli was the better hunter however.
The duo took on a Rottie/dobie mix and won. The dog needed multiple fixings after the fight including getting fixed. 22 pounds of cats against an 80 pound dog.

My two cats are very different in size. Mac is small, about 7 pounds, but he covers every inch of ground he stands on! Ming is huge for a Meezer, he's about 20 lbs. I call him Waddles as a nickname, or Fat Albert! Mac is Alpha Cat and runs things. He can back Ming down with a mere lift of his paw. It's funny how they work things out, and your cats have worked things out. As long as they both seem healthy, don't worry too much about who eats what. Diet for the chunky one? I have tried all the diet dry foods and Ming is still big.

Even though they are siblings, it's very possible that they had different fathers. Many kittens from the same litter don't even look alike and they can also have very different personalities. I currently feed my five cats Innova Evo which is a grain free high protein food. It's high in calories so my cats don't need to eat as much of it as other brands. An overweight cat on a high protein will lose weight as long as they aren't free fed this food. Mine only eat about 1/2 cup of dry and they also get some canned Innova Evo too. If I did free feed them then Ziggy and Sky would eat too much they'd gain too much weight because they love to eat. Good luck.:)
