So sad and angry

I am so sad and angry right now. Princess escaped from her owner over the weekend...escaped from the chain he promised she wouldn't be kept on. She was run over and killed on the highway.

That selfish old man killed her; if he wasn't so hell-bent on pretending nothing is wrong with him, Princess would still be alive; I should have fought harder to keep her; I should have just snuck over and stolen her.

I'm sorry little one, I'm so sorry. Godspeed little Princess.

What lesson are we learning from this tragic loss of the Beautiful Princess?

Please reward Princess with a meaningful job in Your Kingdom;
and surround her with other Happy Pups to fill her days with Joy.

And Please, God, reach down with a {{{God'sHug}}} for TamaraLyn and Stuart -
let them know that the did their part with the Princess -
a Job Well Done. She was given True and Unwavering Love.

Hey. This is so SO unfair for that little Princess to die so young and so badly - NOT fair!

Glacier - you know the whole situation better than I do. But I am also thinking of the owner. Yes, he kept her on a chain. And that is bad.

But I recall you said he was ill and in hospital. I am guessing here - that he was glad to have his Princess back...and that he is totally blaming himself for what happened. Do correct me if I am wrong - but I am guessing he is devastated as well.

Tamara, I am so, so sorry. When I read your post, my heart just turned to ice, I was so shocked and saddened. Princess was a lovely little dog. She so reminded me of my RB Checotah, who you made the memory bead for. Princess was so blessed to have had your love and Tehya's, even for a short time. I'm so sorry. I can only imagine how hard this must be. It's not your fault. I know anytime a loved one is lost we alway try to think of ways we could have stopped it. You took good care of her and showed her love that she probably never knew before.
