A dear friend of mine & old coworker has just sent his sweet golden, Shiloh, to the rainbow bridge. He had a lump on his eye and wasn't eating/losing weight. The vet removed the lump last week, but it was cancerous.
The family was hoping they'd have at least a few more years with him, but this is the email I recieved from him today:
Unfortunately, the cancer got the best of Shiloh...he is on his way to rainbow bridge...I am really sad, and I will miss him.
We tried everything possible, but we all felt it was time to let him go....wow...this is real tough.
I have told him about all the wonderful people here and was wondering if you all could spare a few good thoughts for Brian and his family. :(
