*Sigh* After living longer than expected, my ex-neighbor's adorbale, sweet pug boy, Denver, was sent to the Bridge this past weekend. He was having a breathing problem, as the cancer spread to his tiny lungs and the liver was covered with tumors.
Although he lived with the family, his constant companion was my dear friend Jean, the grandmom. She was with him all day and he followed her around constantly. I feel especially bad for her. I'm sure her perfect health at her age (mid 80's) is due to the fact she had her little buddy to keep her happy with his company. No more clicks on the hardwood floors. :( She misses him terrible, but knows he's at peace at the Bridge, with my RB Cody watching over him. Denver was the only dog Cody adored. Best buds. I'll miss you forever, little Den-Den.
