Remember those old cartoons where a black cat brushes against white paint and becomes a skunk?
Well, I had my very own little PePe LePew tonight! I was painting the bathroom trim again, and Mystic was helping me -- so much so that he ended up with the perfect white stripe down the center of his back and tail. :eek:
After much giggling over my poor boy's new color pattern, I knew I had to act fast to clean it off before it dried. Lets just say he was NOT a happy kitty to get a full dunk in the bathtub.
Sorry, no photos since my priority was getting his lovely black fur backs to its original color.

Mystic - just be glad you got washed before some girl skunk fell for you!
Love, Columbine
Mystic, be glad you got a quick bath. I would have been trying to find the camera.

:)
Fred, da First Kat, didn't arrive at the Ranch till after the paint was applied ...
However ...
We DID have da First Shepherd, Casey, to help with both the basic carpentry
(the Carpentry Crew just *loved* her fetching of their freshly measured and
cut to length trim pieces - followed by a spirited game of *keep away*) ...
and the applying of paint. Her specialty was paint *REMOVAL*! :eek:
Every room in the Ranch STILL has tail *swishes* (some with embeded tail hairs)
and or nose marks and ear swipes. We'd return to the old Farm House when
we finished for the night; and GranMom would call Casey over and ask
"What rooms did you paint tonight, Girl? ... Blue tail - that's the bedroom;
Yellow nose - more paint in the kitchen, huh?"
Next day at work in the Shop, anyone who knew I was house building would
look at the Rainbow Princess and start making cracks:
* Still painting the house?
* I like you color choices - they compliment the Dog
* Why don't you buy the Poor Dog a BRUSH instead of making her use her tail?
The world is full of Comedians.

Thats funny as thoose were such clever Cartoons with that Cat becoming a furry Maurice Chevalier!!
Its a good thing that a Lady Cat sounding like Brigette Bardot was not handy!!!
