Pretty Mama and the babies are doing GREAT:D Her mastitis is cleared up, and the babies continue to get bigger and fatter;) The babies have a bit of an eye infection, but a little ointment will clear it up... here are some new pics:)

They're so adorable.:D I think the runt is my favorite.;) I'm glad to hear that mama and babies are all doing well. Hopefully the kittens eye infections will clear up quickly. Good luck.:)

Gosh...they are 3 or 4 weeks now? ETA: June 23rd is their birthday - 4 weeks and two days! :D

The babies are officially out of the box:eek: Rex tumbled out yesterday, and the rest followed today:D We even had our first official "play date" this evening. They were so cute tumbling about:p It looks like Uber and Runt are buddies, Rex is a little shy, and Piggy watches them all. Their favorites toys tonight were a crinkle ball and a flashy-light ball.

PS. They are good therapy for my Alzhiemer's granddad as well; he loves to watch them;)

They really are beautiful kitties. I wonder if it is unusual to have an all black litter? Usually they are all different. It really is fun, isn't it. I have had two litters in my house over the last 5 or so years. It always just amazes me the instinct of the momma to take care of the babies and also their instinct to automatically use the litter box.

Yep! they are soooo cute at it, too:p Little hops, skips, puffs, batts, tumbles, etc.... They started eating today, as well. Par for the course, Runt was the first one trying to nibble dry. so, we mixed up KMR weaning powder, water, and Iams kitten moist. Runt and Rex tucked in, Uber and Piggy just wanted to play;)

We are definately keeping Pretty Mama and Runt, and are more than likely keeping the girls as well. Long term depends on how well they integrate into the whole kitty family. We always try to find homes for the ones we can't keep.
