RICHARD

Since it's almost the 40th anniversary of the moon landing, the shuttle took off and the Space Station is making some passes over the United States, I think we should have a star party on the patio.

Oooh, missed this last night - I was watching food shows and my husband was playing with the new scanner...
Orange Vodka Tonics sound great! ...and the stars would be nice; we'll be camping (somewhere no one has ever heard of - Coolspring, PA) for a family reunion this weekend. I'll need the Orange Vodka Tonics for my husband's crazy aunt!
Can we throw something on the grill? Something decadent?:D

What fun! Kind of hard to think your way back to 1969 though, isn't it? All that excitement in the air. :D Can I suggest "Bad Moon Rising for the juke box? It was out 40 years ago just now.

Well, I'm thinking Thursdays is set out far enough from the city so that we can see more of the stars! I'll take a turn at the telescope, please! We ended up giving ours to my big brother, as he's further from Boston than we are. Hmm, I bet Lady's Human has the best star field of all of us (Peterson kids).
Shine on.......shine on Harvest Moon up in the sky!!
Richard, please, a very large and especially cold Orange Vodka whatchamacallit.
I dropped by to start trouble - so look out!
Ooops, Karen is here!!

If I wasn't so tired tonight, I'd get out the telescope, too. I had a hectic day and ate late, so now I'm fading. I think the strongest thing I can handle is low fat chocolate milk, RICHARD. I know, I'm a dud but I'm partying w/ya in spirit or maybe in my dreams would be more like it. Can't think of any moon songs that haven't already been mentioned but I'll sleep w/a moonstone under my pillow tonight. How's that?

How about the Waterboys' "You saw the whole of the Moon"? Or we could have a snatch of "Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins" by The Byrds. Heard it for the first time on the radio yesterday. Let's just say it is probably the first and last time it will ever be played.
Why can't I see any stars? Has Gini done something to the telescope? She did say she was going to cause trouble.

Is it too early for a tall lemonade? Another hot and humid day in store for us here. If you're up to it, I'll drop in at lunchtime for a BLT on white toast - just a little mayo please.
I must have had moon on the brain when I went to bed last night - all sorts of moon songs come to mind this morning.
Sugar Moon
Moonlight becomes you
Dancin' in the moonlight
Moon over Miami
Moonlight in Vermont
Blue moon
By the light of the silvery moon

Is there any chance their sled might have some angel kitties in it? Are those stars I see or the *glint* of cats' eyes letting me know they're all right?
Could I have a coffee, please? No, wait, I'll need decaf.
