Is this normal?

I have a 6 month old kitten (Winston), and just lately he has started to catch his tail, suck it and knead the floor.
I don't know why he does.
Can anyone explain:confused:

he's re-living early kittenhood. I know people with adult cats that still do this occasionally (one friend's cat did it on the fringe of a floor rug). As long as he is healthy and eating plenty of real food, it's not really a problem.
