thankyou! he is going on 19 years old now, but still a wonderful horse. i love my boy! yeah.. step stools are great, but i've been working on getting on without one. I was doing pritty good untill they pulled out the camera. Plus everyone was making me lauph and screwing me up, lol. Maybe in a month or two I can post a better one :)

That's cool, though.. I would NEVER be able to attempt anything like that due to my 4'10" as my height, haha. I'd love to go horseback riding again one of these days though.. :)

:) Hey that was pretty good.. Now when I used to ride bare back all the time I would cheat.. I would get my horse to stand next to a fence & then I climb the fence & then got on.. I am short as well & my horse was 16 hands.. ;)

haha! yeah, thats how I normally do it but I've been trying to learn how to do it just from the ground. I'm only 5'3 and Riley is 15 hands. For some reason he is the only horse I can get on that way though. lol. I tried with Shiloh the other day and couldn't do it. Riley would be easier if he wasn't so big around.. hahahah! Poor old guy needs more exercise but I dont get to ride often and nobody eles ever really rides him 'cause everyone likes the gaited horses better. After I get the mounting bareback mastered then maybe I can work on trying to get on Diablo next. He is 16 hand as well.

It's funny how short people tend to have tall horses and then I go out looking for a horse and the ones that fit me are already owned by shorter people than me!
