Hello!

I'm looking for people to post their adoption / rescue stories on my website. In a world where happy endings for homeless cats and dogs are unfortunately in the minority, I wanted to create a place where they can become the rule - not the exception.

In 2002 the pump on the well went out, so after having it replaced we had to flush the well. So I was outside with a hose watching the flow and a very tiny grey furball suprised me by climbing up my Carhart bibs and made a wierd mewing noise at me.

Ive had cats before and wasnt looking for one at the time, but she wouldnt leave. After the second night I put a box with a towel in it for her to sleep in on the porch. She didnt sleep in it she used it to do her business in. Coming home the third day she was still hanging around the house, so I went and got the usual cat supplies and she has been here ever since.

She was here for a few weeks before she even had a name. One night while watching a movie she climbed onto my chest and made a noise that sounded like erp, so Erp named herself.

She has been the best cat since Cineli.

Hi! Just checking in on this thread. Still looking for stories to add, please don't be intimidated by the more "hardcore":D rescue/adoption stories up on the site so far. I am looking for all types of stories.
