Well I only planed on one but with faces like these!!!!!!!!!
I would like everyone to meet DOTI and BOOTSI (EGYPT) 2 new fosters.
both are about 3-4.
DOTI is just a sweet little girl that lacks social skills, She is almost blind but can see movement and will hiss at any thing she thinks is moving. Loves to play with all the toys in the house.
BOOTSI we found out by accident likes to be called EGYPT. This guy is just a loving purr machine. Loves too give kisses, head bumps, and cuddles. This guy choose me.
A shelter that I work with is over crowded so I agreed to take 1 maybe 2, well we all know how that goes. I took DOTI because she had been adopted and returned in January.
BOOTSI was in a communal room and I was standing by a cat tree giving scratches to a very pretty orangey, when he stepped a way BOOTSI gave me a head bump and some kisses. I made the mistake of turning away. I immediately got a light wack on the shoulder to remind me that he was to get more loving.

Hey John, I didn't realize you foster as well. Hmmm, based on my failure record, I'll will have to see how you do it! ;)

Doti is lovely, she must get frightened seeing things move near her, poor dear.

Bootsi aka Egypt, well, he certainly chose HIS foster day, didn't he? :D

I know, last couple of times we tried to foster we were complete failures.

I also got the "shoulder whack" from Frosty here when I was at the local Humane recently. ;)

He has such soft fur and is a TOTAL lovebug. I had turned away to visit the other kitties in the room - Frosty was on his 'out' time from his enclosure - and I got whapped!

SO - I picked him up and snuggled him on my shoulder while I walked around to visit the others!

I have NO room - but hopefully I will move in the next year to a place that has room for *ahem* fosters!

They're sweet, John. I don't foster. I rescue and keep. Or at least I used to. :p Lucky kitties these. :)

I don't dare foster, I would have 100 cats!! Thank God for people like you. If I had more room and no other cats, I would adopt Doti in a second and give her a good, safe home. Unfortunately, I have two other cats and I doubt she would take well to that.

Yes I can see the way this is going. My wife has already fallen under Dobe's spell and I'm not far off Egypt. But the walls are pushed to the limit. Our house is tiny. Only a little over 1200 sqft. not counting the basment.

That is a great kindness John, as there seems to be a line where people dont think Cats are cute, and mature still very young Cats are often not considered.
:(:(
Doti :love: and Bootsi are so very blessed that you dropped by Today.
Thats the equivilent of a Lost Cat winning the Lottery!!!
:love::love::love:

John,

They should nominate you for sainthood. I flunked fostering 101 long ago. I'm glad I got my Budman back though. He's doing great!!

They are so pretty, GILL! Please give them some petting from me!

My fur-nephew Milo "chose" my niece in just the same way. When she got near his cage at the shelter, he put out his paw to her, and she was like "We're done here..." The two of them made the decision and the rest of my brother's family just went along with it!

We were worried that Dode might have a problem with 15 others in the house, but she has taken control. We know she can't see much more then movement. That has not stopped her from chasing some of the others. She she has a problem she'll just back off and hiss, then everyone clears the area.
Bootsi (aka Egypt, don't ask) just wants too talk to every one and be top cat. He has found that most of the others will not back down and if he does not behave he gets wet. Not very effective as he and his partner in crime will jump in the shower before you get out.
I think that I'm going too have a problem finding homes for these two, my wife loves the way Dode follows her around house.
