Do many of you have dogs that do this?

Sparky is very vocal! He whines, whimpers, cries, growls and barks. Not much movement to go along with it tho - just a leg twitch here and there. And it's not just once in a while, but quite frequently. I can't help but wonder what demons he is chasing, or what ones are after him.

Myndi, on the other hand, is a silent sleeper, but she is the one with the action. She flails around like crazy sometimes - almost like she is having a seizure. A couple of times I even woke her up just to make sure she wasn't seizing. - that's how bad it was.

Crazy dogs! :p

:) Tiki is a barker/growler too and sometimes she does some little twitches with her legs. She also sometimes wags her tail in her sleep too. I love it when she does that. It's so cute:D

Taggart mostly just whines a little bit every now and then. But it's not that often and I don't think I've ever seen him move very much.

Yes, Casey does this sometimes. She will whimper or do little ruff type growls and sometimes her feet will move. It is funny sometimes, but if she seems like she is having a bad dream I will wake her up. Then I will think to myself...what could she possibly have a bad dream about...she lives like a queen! :D I don't know if she has ever really had a bad experience in her life except for maybe a vet visit.

I'm with you there! I think maybe with Sparky's vocals, he could be dreaming about the big, bad groomer. He hates going there. He starts shivering and crying in the car about a mile before we even get there. Beats me how he knows where we're going. And Myndi's such a spaz-muffin, that maybe she never really completely winds down - even when she's sleeping.

Smokey used to make the most mournful howl I've ever hear. It aways
woke me , it sounded so desparate.:( Since having Maggie he rarely ever
does it anymore. Maggie makes little "ruff" sounds once in awhile.
