Hi all,
As many of you know I volunteer with Shirley Fonda of Fondas Foundlings and the other day I was over there meeting the new kittens and kitties and taking names to put them all on Petfinder.
This one special kitten that she has is just so sweet. It's a little boy with grey and white boots.
He's very special because I'm pretty sure he has CH. I've been reading up on it and he has all the symptoms of it.
I'm very attached to him already of course but we just took in Ozzy and we'd like to find Ozzy a great home as well but at the same time we just don't know yet. We can't have 10 cats that's just too many for us in our one bedroom place....it's bad enough that we have 8 and the 1 foster.
This little guy is about 5 weeks now and will be ready to go probably in 5 weeks or less.
I'm looking to find him a home. There is an adoption fee but he's well worth it.
I have to get a picture of him on here. He's just so little and he falls over so much.
Well if anyone is interested please let me know.
Thanks,
Melissa

Aw, sweet boy. CH babies are so sweet and they really don't require any special care except in extreme cases. Please make sure that you mention that to potential adopters. My CH baby Creamsicle has captured every heart imaginable, even those who claim to not like cats. In fact, she's the poster girl for sweetness.

 CH Babies are the Greatest.. I have 4 now & they all are so diff in their CH ways.. Oh I so wish I could help & take this wittle one in = But I feel I am just too far away.. Best of Luck.. Make sure he goes to a Very Special Loving Home.. keep us posted ok..
Just keep us informed. We lost our CH (LB) a few weeks ago and I miss her so much. She was one of the sweetest babies we had. She fostered Lucky from 1 day old and he still looks for her.

I will have to get a picture of him. I keep meaning to get over to Shirley's to see him but I think I'm keeping my distance because I just can't take in another one especially since Ozzy is around and most likely will be staying with us unless we find him the best home out there.
This little guy from what I hear has been playing around and learning to adapt regardless of his CH.
I will get a picture soon promise.

Considering most of the rest of mine are disability I am not worried about his CH, but more about whether he gets along with other cats ;)
Even with oour the house full. He is the cutest.

Hi,
He hasn't been out of their bathroom yet but he loves other cats and they seem to do well with him. He's not ready to be adopted out just yet but in a few weeks he will be.

He isn't in a shelter. He is at this womens house and I was posting for him on here because I know so many of you have CH babies and I figured maybe someone who knows more about CH will adopt him and take excellent care of him.
I love him so much that I hate to see him go when he is ready which will probably be 2 more weeks.
Please check out Shirley's website up above.

How does he do with stairs and other cats?
I hope you scoop him up. I'm betting he will be fine with other cats because he will be so young when introduced to them. Mind you, if he is anything like my Miss Z (who is moderately severe CH), he will love to chase other cats. She terrifies me when she comes up the stairs and I avoid watching her because she stops when she sees me and looks like she is going to rear backwards. She's best left to gallop up them by herself, relying on momentum.
Did you notice that his tail is already in the stiff and straight rudder position so he's learned to use it as a stabilizer?

Considering the other cats that are close to his age are all blind he might have a "fiar fight" :D
Since he isn't ready to be adopted for a little while we will have to keep an eye on him...

LOL! My Elmer does that. He lashes his tail back and forth and around to help him keep his balance.

LBaker and I have made arrangements to meet with Shirley (the foster mom) and make the "transfer" on Sunday evening. So I will try and remember to bring my camera and get some pictures (old age makes me forget these things )
