Samson (???-5/26/09)

Our sweet Samson kitty was PTS this afternoon. He was in kidney failure and had gone drastically downhill in the last couple of days. We honestly aren't sure if he would have even made it through the night tonight.

Samson was the cat we never intended to have. He moved into the crawlspace under our house when we were living out in the country, and eventually moved into the house and into our lives permanently. We think he was probably dumped out in the woods somewhere, as he had obviously been a pet before.

He was one of those truly great cats--just a sweetheart. He was a great lap cat, and would play like a kitten right up until he got sick (and even then on the good days). He had his feline quirks--he was constantly underfoot. Samson was great with the girls, so patient, and he is the only one of our cats that our 21 month-old daughter calls by name--"Tam-Tam."

We're going to really miss our kitty-boy.

What a sad day this is for you to lose that Wonderful Companion that Samson has been all these yeras.
And what a smart Cat to know the right home to go to where he would find the place where he would no longer bea stray but would be Your Found Cat and Boon Companion.
Tonight Sammson will be the Cat of Honor at a Huge Beer Hall in Munich and then they will have a picnic in a Glourious Castle where Samson will recieve his Wings of Silver and Gold!!
And he misses you all especially his Special Little Girl, and will be with you in spirit until You Meet Again in Paradise.
