I learned of Gabrielle and Izzy through this article (http://www.guideposts.com/story/girl-dog-companions) in Guideposts. Gabe had to say goodbye to Izzy on Monday the 18th. Izzy has led her on a journey of love and courage. They traveled many miles together, teaching other's of Gabe's life experiences. Izzy's journey is over but her legacy lives on.

Rest In Peace Izzy :( You are missed by all, sweetheart. Play hard at the bridge. I hope Gabrielle is able to cope. I know it's devastating for her. The two of them have been through so much.:(

On a note about bullying in school: This is one of the biggest pet peeves I have. I have no tolerance for anyone bullying another person. I hope for legislation some day that will make it more seriously punishable.

I will never understand how people get enjoyment out of making fun or tormenting another person. It's a sick person that does this. I can only hope they get it back some day and I fully believe they will. :mad: :mad: :mad:

What a wonderful story. How sad Gabe has lost Izzy. I too was on the verge of tears through the whole story.:( May Izzy have fun at the Rainbow Bridge and many thoughts and prayers for Gabe to go on without her.:(
