Wow Monty, you look a lot like my Sugar. He looks big and is somewhat large, but has fur and markings similar to you. Sugar has white paws though. I will post a photo of him.

Do you have that soft as spun silk fur?

Are you sure you are not part Maine Coon? Because I was told my Sugar was at least partly Maine Coon and he does not have the typical meow like my two girls. If he even talks (rarely) it is a soft, quiet, short little squeak as well.

Poor Monty , The Found Ctas are so sorry that you had that fall in the pool, and hope that you are more careful from now on.
They dont like water much either and JJJ3 can relate as he fell in the kitchen sink once and hated it.
You are such a big Handsome cat, and we think that theres some Maine Coon in you too, you have taht Happy Face and big Ruff , and That Purrfect Purrrsonality as well.
