My daughter and I went to the APL two weeks ago and picked out a new bun. They only had two but Clover (half English Lop half Holland Lop) was perfect from the start. It only took me ten minutes to bond her and Benny (Benny's first mate Snowy died of a tumor). I put Clover in a cage in Benny's room for two days and introduced them in the hallway the third day, 10 minutes later then were fine and have been playing in the mutual room for over a week now.
I have a loveseat in the room and sit in there and read and spend time with them. The second day I am just sitting there kind of on my side watching them playing hide and seek with the boxes when Clover jumps on the loveseat and cuddles in my arms for a pet. I was surprised and so happy. Whomever had her before must have cuddled her quit a bit. She has done this several times now and is oh so sweet. Benny thinks so as well.
Even though Clover is 5lbs to Bennys 3lbs they get along so well and Benny is the man in the room.
Clover is only one and she is full of pep she needs to explore everything, jump on the boxes, rearrange the boxes and play all the time. It is so much fun seeing Benny playing and being happy again. Bun love how great is that.

Both of your rabbits are just too cute for their own good! Congratulations on the new addition.
I have always adored rabbits, but don't think they are the right animal for me... so I love seeing PT rabbits to fill the void. :)

Thank you everyone. They are upstairs now causing mischief and lots of noise. They run in and out of my bedroom and their room playing tag, hide and go seek and their own game of who can tear the boxes and phone book apart faster, there by leaving mommy quite a mess everyday.
I love it. :D:D
Clover is so full of energy and spit, she has made Bennybunny so happy and full of curiosity.

Thank you again everyone. Benny has an app with the vet this morning. I think he might have a blocked tear duct or lashes growing in his one eye.:( It weeps and drains. Clover being the sweet loving mate licks it for him. I hope he won't need surgery.
Other then that the two are as happy and playful as always. Clover loves to be petted and follows me around hopping after me wanting to be loved and of course hoping for a treat. They are both so spoiled as bunns should be. Watermelon, cantolope, dill, marigolds, clover, dandelions, mixed baby greens, carrot tops, parsley, strawberry tops, peppers, celery, fresh raspberries. I try and give them a good mixture everyday and in the summer it's easy. Benny's favorite is still the peach. Clovers is still the yougart drop.
