Foster Homes Needed For Akitas

I am a vet in northern NJ and do Akita rescue. This is a wonderful breed that is sorely misunderstood. I take a dog, fully evaluate it physically and behaviorally. Then I neuter it, update vaccines, microchip it, fecal and heartworm test it. Then I match a foster home's situation with the particular dog's temperament. I need more foster homes! i wish that there was a way that i could help....but i am in florida and i have 2 dogs....
i just saw a program recently how they are using akitas for seeing eye dogs...actually a former surgeon that lives in florida has one...its' his second seeing eye akita....
what if you tried the dodge estate in morristown????
where all the seeing eye dogs are trained????
