Not sure if this link has been shared here before. I got a nice chuckle out of it. :)

Cat Bathing as a Martial Art (http://www.xmission.com/~emailbox/bathing.htm)

I know parodies and jokes similar to it have been shared on the board. :)

Reminds me of the other one on giving a pill to a cat...funny.

I always find it interesting when watching wild animal shows, these big tigers are just lounging around slopping in water

Fortunately, I've not had a time when Ritz smelled bad...she is pretty fastidious .

LMAO!!! That is so true. I had my memory refreshed last night when I bathed Bixby. Oh the horror of being a long haired kitty...sometimes he gets some of his *potty* stuck to his fur. And of course, he reeks...so into the tub he goes. Geeez...while Scout and Gigi don't like the bath, they cower in the tub until I'm done with them. Oh no! Not Mr. Bixby...he yowled and scratched...thought he was Super Kitty and tried to fly and yes I mean FLY out the tub. It was not a pretty sight.

I wished I had the text when I had to bathe Tigris after he broke the nail enamel remover bottle and spilled it over his back (by jumping from the window sill -don't ask about the details). I made exactly this experience and am still glad that he began to talk to me again three weeks after...;)

Sounds exactly like my cats. Bathing them is an experience in itself. The first time my fiance and I bathed Neko, he clamped his canines down on the top and bottom of my thumb, thus making me bleed and scream. He thinks he's won but we have some funny pictures of him all wet :). Cats are so cute when they are wet.

My Bodhi is most unusual for a cat. He actually loves water and enjoys being bathed. He cries to have the kitchen sink tap turned on so he can play and bathe in it. We put the stopper in the sink for a lark and filled it with about 4 inches of water , poured it over his head and back while he swatted the running water till he was soaked. He actually was upset when we took him out to dry him. Go figure. He also runs into the shower and bathtub as well as the bathroom sink and water bowls are to be played in and tipped over!!!!
