I lost my incredible friend Annie on the 25th of April 2009. She was a 10 year old black miniature French poodle with the most fantastic personality.
She was my best friend and my almost constant shadow for the past 10 years (more than halve my life) and was loved and adored by all who knew her.
We noticed that her behaviour changed a month before, but we put this down as possibly being jealous of our new puppy who had arrived a month before that, however she never was the jealous type. We kept a close eye on her but she had changed completly and would barely let me cuddle her anymore. Then on that horrible and sad day she wouldn't eat her breakfast and then her her lunch. All of a sudden her whole body contorted with spasms and we rushed her to the vet IMEDDIATELY where she was diagnosed with a very fast growing tumour of the brain and we has to eathanize her to stop her suffering.
I miss her so much.
