One Man's Grief

I don't know how many of us are acquainted with HUA,
(Hearts United for Animals), but the latest newsletter
has a story of how one man's grief & sorrow over the
loss of the love of his life, Mollie Rae, a tiny poodle, has
prompted a big change in Nebraska law for puppymill
dogs. The story is here;

The man, Senator Ernie Chambers gave this tribute to
Mollie Rae on the Senate floor in Nebraska when the bill
came up for a vote It passed the Senate 36-0.

Liz, thank you for sharing that! The article on the law passed for puppymills in Nebraska was great. I wish there were more people in charge that felt animal rights issues were important. The Senator's tribute to Mollie was so touching. It broughts tears to my eyes.
