I had addopted a dog a few years back, this is her third home now. She is a beautiful siberian husky, and very true to the breed standard. She has a green tatoo in her ear, and she is not fixed, which leads me to believe that it is a club tatoo. We do live in canada, but when her second owner got her from a husky rescue they told her that her father had his akc title. I just received an email saying that the akc doesn't use tatooes to register a litter. I think in Canada in the tatoo the tatoo letters and numbers tell you exactly where the dog came from and the litter it came from. So how do they keep track of the registered dogs in the USA?? I would really like to know where she came from and how old she is, I think shes older than she lets on.

Unless you have registration papers I don't think there's any way of knowing.
