Laura's Babies

I met Gator when I lived in Pensacola and he belonged to a co-worker of mine. He was found by my co-workers wife during a floor, she heard a kitten screaming as he floated by hanging on a tree limb. He was a wee baby, to little to be away from his Mother but Shirley rescued him and took him with her to work with her to make sure he got his bottle on time. He grew into a VERY beautiful, long haired black boy..
You may have heard me talk about my co-worker that had spiritual things happening in his house that scared his cat. The cat would sit and look down the hall towards the stairs with the hair on his back raised and his tail fluffed up. The cat would take the long way around to get to the stairs rather than going right through the hall.. That cat was Gator.
Gator use to come greet me every time I went to visit. He would jump in my lap and let me admire him for awhile and then get down. He would come back every 10 minutes or so and jump back in my lap and allow me to admire him again through my whole visit. He was a beautiful, loving boy.
My co worker text ed me this evening to tell me he had lost a family member.. Gator had passed away. I have known this co worker for 10 years and he had Gator when I met him and he always told me the latest on Gator..
Gator, you were VERY loved and admired by many. Such a handsome boy, so big and strong. I know you have left BIG paw prints on your Mom and Dad's heart and will be missed terribly. RIP pretty boy, play hard at Rainbow Bridge.
