Lilly - longing for the cold

Lilly - the Siberian cat, loves the cold, lives in Los Angeles...

Wait a minute! Here I am, above the Arctic Circle, having spent the last several days camped under the stars and the big moon, in the bushes above the river banks while beavers slap their tails in the soon to be frozen water below, waking up in the morning covered with frost, shoving feet into icy boots.

So I say, get Lilly the heck out of LA and send her here to me, in the cold, where she belongs.

It's pretty warm where I am, so Lilly, head north/north-east to Frostfrog and he'll show you where the best beavers are for chasing :) Happy COTD, you are indeed an exotic cat.

Although all kitties are special, yours is an extra special breed, because allergic mommies like me can have you as a pet and not be left out of this wonderful world of cats.

Don't worry about the heat, Shimon does very well in our Mediterranean weather, so I'm sure CA is OK too.

Lilly, you lovely furry kitty! I can understand that Siberians like cool weather, but my sister-in-law's Samoyeds really love the cold! They cuddle up to snowdrifts and lean on icebanks. But they're really furry, with about 6 inches of insulation on them. R60.

There are some really big Siberian kitties but they're tigers; maybe the most beautiful animal in the world but lousy house pets. Lilly's the closest thing.
