What a lucky girl Miss Boo is. Turns out all it was, was one solid build up of tarter around her whole tooth that came right off in one piece when he scraped it the first time. The bacteria that built up in it is what inflamed her gums! He found another tooth on the other side that had the same build up and got that off. He was as surprised as me that it was such a simple fix! (No charge for todays visit either!) I had been so worried about her having to have that tooth pulled at her age and so was he... Thank You GOD!

Now that's a good vet right there! My ret. vet used to do that w/all my cats and dogs; he'd just flick that tartar right off their teeth. Good job! Glad that it's all handled. :)

They are wonderful there. Dr. Hidalgo is so handsome and sweet (go into "about" and select "Doctors"). Dr Hidalgo is always wanting recipes to try and I always take him some. Dr. Goss is always interested in Amy and is so sweet with her, he is the one that has a friend with a CH kitty so he is very interested in CH'ers. They really are like family there, all the girls are so personal and friendly and always happy to see you..

They cut you a lot of slack if you have multiple pets, knowing how expensive it can get.

Dr. Goss is a recent graduate from the vet school and I think his only experience is with his friends cat and that is why he asks me so many questions about Amy when I take her in.

I don't know how much experience Dr. Hidalgo has (with CH) but he never used the word Cerebellar Hyperplasia with Amy, all he would say was neurological damage. Since Dr. Goss has been there, he sees Amy everytime she goes in and I think it is just so he can pick my brain about her so he can learn.

Dr. Goss is the one I talked to after Nancy read Amy and told him all about what she said about the pain she was in. He was VERY interested in all that and often asks if I have used her again and they all ask everytime I go as to how she is doing. I wish everybody could find a wonderful vets like these two.
