It's truly amazing! Nature was so far behind its schedule this year, but now it has caught up with everything... really beautiful!

I have to agree with everyone else!!! Gorgeous gorgeous pictures!!:) Your photography is awesome all the time!!:)

I wonder what some of the flowers are. Are the top two called Azaleas or Rhododendrons there? The third one looks like our Oxalis. I'm guessing Dogwood for the 3rd from the bottom, next, another Azalea?. What is the beautiful green foliage in the bottom?

I love all of them!!!

Two weeks ago we still had snow- and here it's the same. Spring is decided to catch up.

Yup, the first two are Rhododendron, and I think the third one is some kind of clover  (at least the leaves look like that). Next are daffodils and tiny violets, the one with the bumblebee is another rhododendron. Next are the blossoms of an almond tree (I think) and Japanese cherry. The last one shows the blossoms of a lime tree, as far as I know.

So interesting!! Thanks, Kirsten. In Germany, you seem to have flowers and plants from A to Z. Keep sharing them with us!!:)

FANTASTIC close-ups!!! What zoom does your camera have? Mine is a 5X zoom; but you can get so much closer!!

WOW! WOW! I just saw your other thread and this one is equally beautiful. Your spring is a little bit ahead of me here in New Jersey as my rhododendrens are still in tight buds. They don't usually open up until next month. What a treat these pictures were!

Wow, so pretty!
I envy you can get that close to a Bee without freaking out.
I would have been running in the opposite direction. :o

Thanks, glad you enjoyed our springtime. The most beautiful part of it is almost over by now, many blossoms have faded already. It's a bit sad.

Mine has a 12x optical zoom, that really helps a lot!

Well, actually I overcame my phobia that way. When you look at a bee through the lenses, it becomes less scary. It's almost as if the camera between you and the insect protects you, but of course it won't if the bee's getting into a bad or defensive mood! :D
