RIP Keesha

Keesha died tonight :(
I don't know what happened, she was fine this morning..ater her food and was her happy bouncy self and was acting fine when i took Eli rollerblading but when me and my neice got back with Eli she was just dead....no wounds or anything, it looked like she had stretched out in the sun and died. She was only 7

it just doesn't seem real

Oh my goodness, that is horrible. I am so sorry. It's hard when we lose our babies, but when it happens so suddenly and you don't know why it is even harder.

I'm totally floored! I'm SO sorry! I guess it doesn't mater if it was sudden or not, it's still heartbreaking and shocking! I just don't know what to say except, again, I'm SO SO SO sorry. Keesha will have lots of friends at the Bridge.

How heartbreaking - and to not know what happened makes it even more difficult. Could she gotten in to something toxic and eaten it?

thank you all for your kind words.

there was nothing that she could have gotten to that you would harmed her in any way. we don't have a fence so she was on a tie out and the area in wich she is tied at is clear.

I'm so sorry about Keesha. I can't imgaine how hard that must be for you finding her like that :( How very sad :( When I took Graham to physical therapy, one of the vet techs there lost her dog, a great dane, suddenly from a heart attack. She let him out to go potty and he just collapsed and passed away right before her eyes. It was a sudden death, no suffering at all from the dog. It was aweful for the vet tech because it was so totally unexpected, but at least her dog had a painless death.

It sounds like maybe the same thing could have happened to your pretty girl? I'm so sorry that you had to lose a good friend so suddenly and unexpectidly. Rest well, Keesha.

I'm so sorry about Keesha....Cassie has been at the bridge for a couple of weeks now, and I know she'll greet her with open paws......How is Eli? Is he missing her?

Strangley enough none of the other dogs seem to notice that she is gone..especially not Eli, he's dog agressive so not really allowed near the others.
