Is there a cat angel out there for this blue eyed boy? ;*He's been adopted!* 4/8; #17

Blue Eyes was found near starvation, weighing in at only 5 lbs. When food was put in the trap, he ran right in to eat and when he hears the sound of an electric can opener, he cries very loudly and persistently, so this seems to indicate that he was once a family member. He's been vetted and has tested negative for all the diseases and has been neutered. Please consider giving this Siamese/Tabby mix a furrever home. He's in Akron, Ohio and is being fostered until such time as he's adopted. ETA: Just found that it's believed he's not a mix after all but a purebred Lynx point Siamese.

Mary, do you know if they checked for a tattoo or chip? I am sure they must have - but it's strange for a purebred to not have one.

ETA: I just received an email that said Blue Eyes was checked for both and he has neither one.

So far, no takers, not even any interest. He was living behind a restaurant, I think, and is considered sem-feral because he lived outdoors for so long. I don't consider that to be semi-feral but that's my opinion.

Not yet. The man who is fostering him is doing his best to fatten him up a bit but one of the ferals that he trapped just had 6 kittens so he has his hands full.

A 40 year old couple in Columbus adopted him. I don't have any details other than that yet but I do know the foster dad well and, believe me, he wouldn't have placed him unless he was 100% positive that Mr. Blue Eyes was going to a responsible couple. The foster dad does everything but fingerprint prospective adoptive people. :D
