Don't breed or buy while shelter pets die

Rupert is gorgeous, and for whatever reasons, his owners decided to buy him from a breeder, rather than attempt to find a pug from a Pug Rescue group, or by going to their local shelter. I've seen several pugs at shelters, and in San Diego, there is a very large groups of Pugs that have been rescued, and need homes.

It's unfortunate that you had to reference Rupert, and rain on his parade. Everyone on PT is well aware of the issues that you mentioned, and using Today's Dog to bring it up, was rather cold. IMO of course! :mad:
