New shelter in Youngstown Ohio

A new no-kill cat rescue has opened on Youngstown's west side. The Cat Ladies Society specializes in special needs cats, though they have many regular cats and kittens available for adoption as well.

This shelter is 100% volunteer owned and operated and they need help in the form of donations and volunteers. They generally house between 50 and 80 cats at any given time. All of the cats are vaccinated, tested, fixed, de-wormed and flea treated before going up for adoption

I can be found there most days scooping, sweeping, mopping or doing other fun stuff. It's a great place, and very pink. Lots of terrific cats, too.
