Interferon for animals...anyone know anything about it?

I always post in the cat section, this is my first post on the dog side, does anyone have any experience with giving Interferon to dogs or any animals, or any knowledge of it, benefits, side effects, etc.?
any infowould be appreciated. Thanks.

Interferon is a drug that is used in Aids cases and is also used in dogs and cats. My cat Mollie Rose was on Interferon and Orbax for her sneezing and kitty asthma. Cleared it right up.
