We've had quite a few warm days lately, but there's still plenty of snow on the ground in most of the yards and ours. I know there have been threads about snowballs - Bob asking Chris is they were real ...
Does your dog still play "ball" in the snow? Will he or she attempt to "fetch" a snowball, or will it get pounced upon and disappear?
How does your dog's playtime change in winter?
Riley2- we have two doggies named Riley on our street - one is a young male Shih Tzu, white and tan. The younger Riley is closer to me - she's a coal-black mid-size retriever mix, bulkier than a flat-coat, but with that kind of coat. In any case, she LOVES fetching her tennis ball, even in the snow - in fact having to tunnel through new-fallen powdery snow seems even better!
Do the cold, or ice, or snow change your dog's play routine?
