Hi PT friends,
There was something on our local news saying the Humane Society is offering help for pet lovers who have difficulty feeding their companions. Sorry but I missed the details and haven't seen or heard anything more about it.

Has anyone else heard about this? With things as they are now, this might help people and their loving pet companions stay together.

In some places food banks are also supplying pet food for people who come in to access their services.

As emily_the_spoiled said, some food pantries and food banks do accept donations of pet food to supply folks in need. I believe the one hosted in my church basement does, I'll have to ask some time.

The Animal Welfare Association is excellent that way, bringing us canned and dry food for a fraction of the retail price.
And Our Friend Dale just brought us 14 pounds of Natures Harvest for the Porch Cats and the Found Cats , no charge!!
They are good people and do so much for the Homeless Cats of Hamilton.

There is no way people such as these will not get into Heaven. The Angel Babies will demand it!
