Cassy is off to the v-e-t tomorrow

I was giving Cassy a tummy rub and one of his nipples is swollen. It's down now, but still larger than the others. It was roughly the size, shape, and color (but pinker) of a large rice crispy earlier.

We have an appointment to see the vet tomorrow after work.

Have any of you seen this before? It doesn't seem to painful, but I'm worried. :eek: :(

I'm so sorry to hear about Cassy. :( I sure hope that it's nothing serious. I've never heard of this before either. All fingers and paws are crossed here. Good luck at the vet and please keep us posted. AmberLee, I'll say a prayer for him tonight.

Poor Cassy! I've never heard of this either, but it does sound like something that should be checked out. We'll be thinking about you and Cassy and waiting to hear what them durn white coats say. Be good Cassy. :)

Oh Cassy!! Bless your little heart. I sure hope everything is alright. The white coats are never a fun thing to see, but they will make you better:) Lots of headbumpies from your friends in Gilroy! We'll all be thinking about ya, you handsome long-tailed big-eyed guy you! :D

Cassy is FINE!!!

Sorry, I was so worried and this is such a relief. According to the vet he had a small cyst growing on one of his nipples (ouch). She was able to remove it non-invasively. It's all over. Whew.

I think it had shrunk since I found it (either that or my memory had built it bigger than it actually was) because I had to hold him down while the vet looked for it. (The vet tech couldn't find it and I was feeling pretty stupid holding Cassy between her leaving and the vet arriving...) Cassy-boy got a clean bill of health overall and I'm so relieved. The vet said there's no knowing what caused the cyst to form, but it isn't serious. [So I panicked for nothing. I guess that's a relief. :rolleyes: :eek:

:( :o I twied guys, but Doktur Stebbins is fast on hew paws for a hooman. I gots in one gwowlly, thwee hisses, a bunchies snawls, and I snagged her coat. Ifin I was feelin betta I coulda scored higher I fink. Maybe next time. Meowme is setting up a pointment for s-h-o-t-s for Nobemeber. :eek: It's not a good sign when Meowme s-p-e-l-l-s, is it?
