My cat has a weird personality

I have a 3 year old indoor-outdoor male cat at my parents house. We fed him and cuddle with him but we never try to play with him with cat toys. Lately me and my sister decided to buy him a cat toy.

At first his not really interested, but then he started to play and enjoys it like every cat does. But then when someone other than me or my sister watches him play, he acted like his not interested! Maybe he's embarassed or too proud. :eek: Does anyone has the same expirience???

Welcome to PT!!! Your cat sure sounds like a good old regular cat!!! My cats will do the same thing.....

Yup, my older cat does this with the kitten. Anytime she (the kitten) gets near him (the old man) he will hiss and growl at her. Well, the other day I caught him playing with her!! :eek: It has only happened about 5 or 6 times in the 6 months that we've had the kitten, but it's too funny to watch when it does occur. :D And it usually doesn't last long either.
