Introducing my bunny, Chewy

This is Chewbacca, aka Chewy for short. He's a Netherland Dwarf. I am his permanent foster home. You see he was brought into our local shelter in the spring of 08, the beginning of peak bunny season at the shelter. His old owners said he was at least 7 years old (they got him when he was 2 or older & had him for a little over 5 years). Because of his age & the fact that we already had too many rabbits he was going to be euthanized. I couldn't let that happen so they let me foster him for the rest of his life. It's like he's mine only I didn't have to pay an adoption fee & I don't have to pay any medical bills. He's a great little bunny, he's very calm & very lovable. I know he's not new to me but since I've been gone so long he's new to you. Without further adieu... Chewy

It's so funny, if I put him in a room with hardwood or tile floor he will not leave his rug... it's like an invisible fence

He's the first bunny I've ever had but he got me hook line & sinker. I love this little guy
