12 yeras after she rescued her 6 Kittens from a fire in an abandoned New York City garage.
She has 2 books about her , and raised a good deal of money for stray Cats during her life. And 5 of her 6 Kittens are still alive in thier Furrever Homes.
One of the most touching memories I have is with her face blistered by the fire searching out for her babies by scent.
Her Little White Eternal Kitten was there waiting for his Momma , and then are both in the Animal Angel Army now, and are seeing the good things now, and enjoying the life styles of the Rich and Famous.
Was ever anyone who earned that right more?
I pray I meet Scarlett and Whitey.
One Fine Day.

Thanks for that link Momtomany. So often you don't hear a follow up to these kind of stories, and it was good to hear that Scarlett enjoyed a good life after her ordeal.
Rest in peace beautiful Scarlett.

Thank you for this thread and the link about Scarlett, which led me to more links, and I learned details I had not known about her life. She touched so many and deserves all the honours. I was not aware of her demise. I shall never forget her.
