This has been a horrible year for us. We lost Carly in July and tonight we lost my Max. We didn't know that he had a mass on his liver. He started acting ill yeswterday and began to fail quickly. By tonight he hadn't eaten or slept since yesterday. He was severely dehydrated - I've been giving him water with a syringe all day. Tonight his daddy and I had to make the decision to help him to the bridge. We are lost without my Bubba. He was a gift to me for our anniversary.

I'm sure none of this makes any sense, but I'm so sad. I can't stop crying. My Bubba is gone...............:(

We went this afternoon to pick out the urn where Max's ashes will rest.

The other three dogs are very confused. Max was here when all of them came and now he's gone.
