My oh so sweet bunny, Cinnamon has gone to RB. It was expected but never the less, it still brings tears to my eyes.

Cinnamon got to meet Siegmar and Barbara as well as Vermontcat and her daughter. She was a little fur ball - long haired bunny.

Cinnamon was a rescue bunny and came to me after being discovered in someone's basement, all by herself, when the Humane Society went in to clear out a slew of cats. I never knew the age of Cinnamon but the House Rabbit Society thought she was grown - they spayed her before I got her. I would say she was at least 2 or 3 when I got her.

She lived free range in my house for awhile. I have chewed walls, sofa, handles to tools - you name it. She was great with the litter box. The cats loved her and would roll all over her. They would also herd her back to her room sometimes. She eventually was treated to a new bunny buddy, Denver, another rescue bunny - a meat rabbit. Denver and Cinnamon became friends after a couple of battles and being kept next to each other for a year! Denver died 1 and 1/2 years ago, living for a few years with us, but having a respiratory infection he could not kick. Cinnamon didn't miss him so much, as he was always eating her food etc. and was a bit of a bully. Denver was at least three times the size of little Cinnamon.

This fall I moved Cinnamon inside (she usually lived on an outside porch, fenced in), but now in her own bedroom, fenced in. I knew she was failing - and after at least seven years with me, I didn't want to put her through a bunch of tests and treatments. She slowed down this week, and when I went to groom her, I noticed she wasn't very spunky. She died that night. I didn't go through with her grooming that night, not wanting to upset her. I think I knew it was her time.

Cinnamon will get buried in the spring, when the ground thaws - she will be buried next to Denver.

Another little friend goes to RB. She has many friends there and will be so happy to see Denver....well, maybe!;)

Hope you had a good trip Cinnamon. You were loved.

Rest in peace sweet Cinnamon girl. I am sure by now you have found Miss Hoppy up there - she's been there since May and will have discovered all the good things to chew and where the best clover and parsley grow.

Your paw prints, even more than your "bunny beveling" will remain in your person's heart forever.

Oh, Sas! We usually think of bunnies as such small, quiet creatures but it's not until they're gone that we realize just how "big and noisy" they really are. It's amazing how such little ones can carry such an enormous presence.

{{Expected doesn't make it easier. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm so sorry for your loss.}}

Sas, I'm so sorry to hear that sweet little Cinnamon Bun has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.:(
I had to dig deep into my photobucket pictures but I found a few cute photos of her that I took a while back maybe when you first got her.

She was so cute in the photo, all stretched out and relaxed.

She always reminded me of a fuzzy little bunny slipper.

I'm sure she's having fun at the Rainbow Bridge with all her friends, Miss Hoppy, Denver, Miley, Samantha & many others.
Sending hugs your way.

Dear Cinnamon Bun, my you have tons of fields to run in, and you will find Denver to play with! Be free and have fun up there till you meet Sallyanne again.

Sleep softly, dear bun bun.

Oh what a precious and sweet bun Cinnamon was. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Bunnies bring such joy to a home and I am sure you brought much joy to her as well. Cinnamon say "hello" to my sweet Snowy at the rainbow bridge and enjoy your play together in the warmth, safety and comfort of God's love.

I'm so sorry to hear about your little furry friend. Cinnamon was the cutest little thing, and really did look like a living bunny slipper.

She was lucky to have landed herself in your house. I can tell it's just filled with love.

Rest in peace, little Cinnamon.
