Thank God for people like the owners of Lilly. I, too, adopted a cat that no one wanted. While she is beautiful, she was so stressed in the adoption center, there was no way anyone would adopt her. I took the chance, thinking she would probably hide under the bed for the rest of her life. Not so. From the day we brought Lydia home she was so thrilled to have a home of her own and kitty friends to play with, she started blossoming. We moved into a new home in a different state in January, and now she's made it clear this is her home and she's here to stay. She loves life. While she still doesn't want to be picked up, she sleeps with us every night and makes us laugh every day. It's so rewarding to see how we've made one little girl so happy!
