I just got very sad.. I just realized that I will be going home tomorrow that I haven't been home in a while, and not see Anna and Rosie again. I just feel like I am expecting to see them and just really not want to believe that it really did happen this month of losing both girls.. :( I'm going to miss how Anna always howled or "woo' woo'ed" to get my attention or offer her paw on my lap when I am sitting on the couch to want me to pet her and be with her.. I 'm going to miss how Rosie always wagged her little butt off when I'd come home - She would bark her head off, with one loud bay, then get really excited that she can't control herself, and run straight to the couch and jump on it and sits on it until I come over and sit by her and she will just be content and happy that I am there. I know I have little Hank, but I just know that I am going to break down once I get home, and man, does the truth hurt.. I've been doing so well until I decided to come home this weekend to visit little Hank, my family and my boyfriend.. and I do need to face it and "move on" to the next chapter of my life.. I will have a reading done next month on Anna... by someone different, so we'll see how that goes, too as well. There are so many things I wanted to know about her, and I would feel so much at peace after it, hopefully...
Just a pointless post, sorry.. just had to let out how I am feeling.
Just two pics of Anna and Rosie...

Not pointless at all. It will be really hard going home for the first time without Rosie and Anna. It will make it real.:( Hank will be there to lick those tears off your face. {hugs}

it´s hard... and painful... but necesary.. as you said in order to "move on"... but this only means a way of accepting it as you´ll never ever move on from their love and their memories.. they will always be there with you... and that´s so good, but to do so we need to realize they are no longer with us and accept it so we can cherish those moments and not be sad all the time... those moments are the ones that should make you smile everytime you think of them.. and maybe shed a tear, but a tear of happiness by remembering those happy times. and why not a sad tear for their departure..
I´m sorry for both your losses... and I´m sure that as sad as you are Hank will lick off those sad tears for you and help make them happy tears... as I´ve read you said he has a few Anna/Rosie manerisms...;)

Awwww, I'm so sorry, Rachel. We can all imagine or relate to how difficult this is going to be. Such an unbelievable series of events have taken place at home. I just pray that you'll be strong and get through as best as you can. Kisses from little Hank will surely help to ease your sadness. I'll be thinking of you. {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

Awww, Rachel. I know exactly how that feels. When I left home Shadow was on the mend, or so I thought, and next thing I know my parent's called saying she was gone. Going home for the first time was SO hard, because I didn't want it to be true or real. The rest of my dogs helped tremendously with the healing process and I'm sure Hank will do the same. ((hugs))

I wish I knew what to say to comfort you, it is so hard losing them. I still have a hard time with Reggie and Smokey being gone, I miss them. It is going to be very difficult when it really "sets in" that they aren't there. I'm glad you have Hank to cheer you and your family up. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts. {{HUGS}}

Losing your girls is so sad, especially so close together. It takes a long time to get used to the change, and at least Hank will be there to snuggle with and bring a smile to your face. It's a blessing Anna & Rosie sent him to your family so quickly, they're watching out for you.
