Sen. John McCain's brother apparently called 911 to ask about stalled traffic. WJLA reports.

Irrelevant to the election but interesting.

Well, he is SO special that he is exempt from the rules everyone else lives by! After all, he IS Johns brother! IDIOT!

What Laura's Babies said!!

I loathe people who think they're better than everyone else. If I was John McCain's sister, I sure as hell wouldn't go around bragging about it, let alone use an emergency service for something so stupid. Maybe next time he should consider renting a plane. Oh wait, us citizens would probably end up footing the bill. Maybe a scooter would be in order. At least this way he can weave in and out of traffic like all the other crazy idiots out there.

Just imagine what he would have done if someone stole a campaign sign from his yard! Call in the military I suspect? The FBI maybe?:D:D

And this is news, why?

Is it the most outrageous call that ever came into the 911 system or something?

This crap happens every day.:rolleyes:

Donna, & Laura-
Where do you derive the feeling of "being better than..." or "exemption from rules" when he never even stated his name, such as 'Do you know who you're speaking to? This is Joe McCain....'

You guys sure do read a lot into things.

That was a stupid irresponsible call, regardless who made it.

Irrelevant because every 911 system in the country can give you the 'stupidest' call of the night.

The police tracked him down and tested him for electrolyte abuse.

Results are pending.

First, he calls 911 for a non-emergency. He didn't say, my gosh, is there someone in distress, is there something horribly wrong? I'm concerned.

No. "There's a backup on the damn drawbridge." Then he tells her to F off.

Nice.

No matter who it was calling, are they ignorant enough to not know that 911 will call you back???

Not very bright.

He called 911, and was rude (&^#$%#$*@) to the operator. As it was a 911 call, his number showed on the screen, so the operator called back. He didn't pick up, but his voice mail identified him as Jim McCain, involved in a family political situation.

The operator left a message; he called again on 911, and as I understand it, was once again quite rude.
