>:( I just had a report from a Baltimore A/C that 20-30 Persians,
>supposedly top quality cats, were let loose by someone in a backyard
>in the region of Murrell Park in Baltimore. Local people brought in
>7 so far - of that, 3 were adopted (by the people who brought the
>others in). They are dispatching A/C officers to get the rest - and
>once they are in animal control they will have 4 days to live if not
>taken by rescue. So far the cats look to be about 3 years old and
>some appear silver tabby or silver, another a Himy. They were let
>loose ALL SHAVED! I am told they need baths and some are thin.

Are any of these places close - or close enough - to Baltimore?

Just got this in from Linda, who sent out the original call for help!

It is being handled. I was the one who initiallly sent that out... but we've got arrangements made to save all these cats.
