Instead of butting heads trying to figure out where we all are coming from during this current election cycle, why dont we get it out in the open.

The Political Compass is an, as far as I can tell, test. It not only guages your political standing on a graph but also shows what historical figures you most relate to.

Very interesting.

This is mine, and I'm not surprised mine is close to Gandhi, Mandela and The Dali Lama's views.

I have to question that site's methodology.

I scored about as centrist as one could get.......and anyone who has had a serious political conversation with me would be able to tell you that's nowhere close to reality.

Yeah, and I scored about where Nelson Mandella is ... it's an odd set of questions. I think a lot had more to do with logic than political ideology ...

It needs to have a "neither agree nor disagree" option to be valid.

That being said, I scored right smack dab in the middle, which is probably pretty close to being true.
