This is the correct way to spell the breed- ABYSSINIAN
Abyssinian's are my favorite breed- I have a blue male, 2 years old.
We need to see more Abyssinian's on cat of the day!!!

He's absolutely gorgeous!! Ruddy's and blue's are my favorite. Is he a small cat because my Aby is only 6 pounds.

As he's a European cat, he is 3,3 kg. That should be about 6,5 pounds if I'm right. His brother Tigris, half Aby and half Siberian, looks very similar but he's thirteen pounds: Legs longer, head bigger -if you do see only one of them from a distance it's hard to tell whom you see but from close it's easier. By the way on of Filous ancestors was from the Sundance cattery -look for their address at Google -they have splendid Aby photos on their webpage.
With your name here I would think that you like Asian cats -I have never been to japan but if you love Abys I am sure that you'd love Thai, Malaysian and Singapore street cats as well.
