Hi,

My little girl has done the oddest thing three times in the few years that I have had her. She is the best mannered little kitty...I want to make that clear from the start.

Though it doesn't happen every time my little girl has sprayed me three times when her back legs are touched. The first time was when we were playing in bed first thing in the morning. She was walking away and I rubbed her back leg. The next thing I knew she had sprayed me right in the face. I don't know who was more shocked...me or her. I could tell by the look on her precious face she did not mean for it to happen. The last time it happened was just last week. I was on the computer and she was pestering me for attention. I held her in my lap and stroked her. She then jumped up on the desk and I mistakenly touched her back leg when reaching for a book she was standing on. Once again she sprayed.

Does anyone know why she does this?

Its not a major problem just a curiosity.

Thanks,

K

:) Welcome to Pet Talk & enjoy all the talks & pics..

Mmm I dont know why your baby does this.. I have never heard of this.. Now your baby is a female right?? Is your baby fixed?? How old is she?? Maybe she tickles easy & thats what makes the spray come out.. When you touch her back leg it tickles her..

Yes my little girl is fixed. She is three years old.

You may be right. Maybe she is ticklelish or maybe her back legs are sensitive.

As I say she doesn't do it on purpose and that first time the look on her face was "Did I do that?!?"
